Colchester Donut and Cafe

Authentic Mediterranean food with donuts, hot coffee, and breakfast items! The owner is incredibly friendly, the cafe is clean and spacious, and the food is delicious! There are options for omnivores, vegetarians, and vegans! I love having vegan options in town. Get the falafel or garden veggie wrap! All of the appetizers are vegan-friendly as well! If you’re curious, the owner might let you sample his hummus or baba ghanouj, and let me tell you—they are to die for! I hope this business has a long, happy life in Colchester!

This was a true gem. The owners are so family friendly. The BEST steak and cheese sandwich that I have ever had. It is a must try. Oh don't for get the donuts, amazing!!!

We were craving a burger so I went to the Cafe and ordered a Mega Burger figuring we could cut it in half and share it.As with all the other offerings, this burger was outstanding and an excellent value.A massive double burger with lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo with choice of cheese (we opted for American) and an equally massive pile of real french fries (no by products, just taters) for a mere 13 bucks?I have had many of the meals and sandwiches at this establishment who also make the best plain stick donuts I have ever had and everything is always fresh, prepared on the spot and equivilent to home style cooking,I can say without reservation that Colchester Donut and Cafe is easily the best breakfast, lunch, dinner and donut shop in town and always my first choice. Food was great, owner was super friendly, atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. I got the cheeseburger and my dad got the chicken/beef gyro and both were delicious. The owner also gave us a sample of their hummus which was the best hummus I’ve ever tried. Will definitely be back!

Best hidden gem in town. Their Hummus, donuts and Baklava are sooo delicious . Repeat customer at this friendly family owned business.

Don't let the "donut" in the name fool you. This cafe offers some of the most delicious food in the area. We came here for lunch twice. The hummus is yummy, just the right texture with just the right amount of acidity and saltiness. I had the Chicken Gyro Salad. The chicken is freshly cooked and properly seasoned (not your typically dry tasteless chicken from Sysco that you found in nationwide chain stores). The owner is also the chef and always greets you with a smile.
